Raised in a strict religious environment, fear and control drove me away from my family and myself. Early on, I adopted a performance mindset, seeking validation through anything but authentic connection. By fifth grade, drugs and alcohol became my escape, fueling a downward spiral through high school. Lost and ashamed, I was a stranger to myself and God.

But God had other plans. My parents’ renewed faith led them to pray for me, and in my senior year, I encountered Christ in a life-altering way (a powerful story for another time). This transformed me from drug dealer to Christ-bearer, leading friends to Jesus and starting a basement youth group.

Success followed as I dove into professional photography and videography. My social media buzz exploded, landing me gigs with celebs and brands. Yet, this glitzy world slowly drew me from God. Salvation didn't erase my brokenness, just exposed it more. Years of teetering between God and the world plunged me into deep depression. I knew the truth of my encounter, but yearned for other things to fill the void. Finally, I surrendered to the Lord at a local church community in Lynchburg. Their authentic love, fueled by a sold-out devotion to Jesus, shattered my "orphan mentality." One simple question in church changed everything: "Will you let God Father you?" Tears welled up as I realized what I truly craved. I said yes, and a new foundation was laid.

God became my Father, redefining my life through His Word and presence. I left toxic relationships, got rid of my idols like social media, and even sold my camera equipment to buy my future wife a ring.

Today, years later, I'm blessed with an amazing wife, our precious son, and the privilege of serving as Outreach Director and home group leader in our church. My pursuit of intimacy with Jesus fuels my life, every step guided by His fatherly love. He even restored my creative gifts, but in a more mature, grounded way.

My life is a testament to God's transformative power. My goal is simple: for everyone to taste and see that the Lord is good and that he desires for us to live in full freedom.
